Scott Higgins
Vice President of Preconstruction
Scott’s path to construction started early, thanks to his dad — a geological engineer who saw Scott’s knack for math and science and encouraged him to explore engineering. While studying civil engineering at the University of Colorado, Boulder, Scott took construction management courses to round out his education and quickly realized he was drawn to the problem-solving, organization, and fast-paced collaboration that come with building projects from the ground up. After graduation, he explored construction as a career and never looked back.
As vice president of preconstruction, Scott works closely with clients and design teams, helping turn ideas into well-planned projects that are ready to build. He enjoys collaborating with project teams and helping his coworkers sharpen their skills and build confidence as they take on new challenges.
Outside of work, Scott and his wife take full advantage of everything the Reno-Tahoe region has to offer, spending their time mountain biking, running, and backpacking through the area’s endless trails and scenic spaces. They also enjoy visiting their two grown children and giving back to the community through volunteer work and supporting others however they can.
